When Ed was 6 years old, his parents thought it was a good idea that he should take accordion lessons.
When he was 12 the first concert he saw was the Beach Boys and then he saw the Beatles and that was it…Ed was hooked on music. Ever since then music has been a major part of his life.
Ed started playing the drums at 12 and then gravitated to the guitar, piano and vocals and then songwriting. When Ed was 15 when his band first recorded in a studio.
He was not formally trained but have a good grasp and musical ability.
Ed started playing in bands in San Diego, CA in the mid 1960’s when Ed was 14 years old, Ed moved to the San Francisco area in 1970 and played in the clubs throughout Northern California his band opened for Dan Hicks & his Hot Licks and The Doobie Brothers around 1971.
In 1972 Ed got a gig working as Van Morrison’s roadie handling the equipment and that started my professional career in the music business.
Ed has traveled all over the world and have worked in venues of all types and worked on many recording projects.

1996-Currently: Tour Manager for the “Doobie Brothers”.
1993-2001: Production Coordinator Gavin Seminars (Radio Industry)
1990-1991:Tour Manager “Mark Isham Band”
1972-1990:Tour Manager, Road Manager, Stage Technician, “Van Morrison”.
1982-1984: Tour Manager “Dexy’s Midnight Runners”
1975-1976:Road Manager “Country Joe McDonald”
Musical Interests :
Rock, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Classical.
