John Edwars is currently the President of Renaissance Entertainment Group, Tucson, Arizona. REG encompasses the online music distributor Discs Online LLC, the non-profit popular music archive and museum PRIMA Inc. and Renaissance Records, the recording label.  John's expertise includes recording artist interaction, product design, distribution coordination, licensing and development, website development international and internet sales and marketing.

To get there John worked his way up from a Station Operator/Announcer at KAWT Radio. Later he became a Contributing Editor for Rock Records in London where he was tasked with providing written coverage of American rock and country music to U.K. based publication. Soon after that He became Managing Editor for Rockstreet in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was responsible for editorial and layout design, content and production, music industry public relations, recording artist interviews, music reviews and profiles. John also worked at Country Sounds in Tucson, Arizona as Publisher and Managing Editor.

In August of 1990 John became President of Renaissance Music & Entertainment, Inc. where he managed artists, publicity and promotion, contract negotiation, music publishing negotiation and administration, booking solicitation. Moving up in the company John became President of Renaissance Records, Inc., Brentwood, Tennessee where he was responsible for recording artist interaction, corporate accounting and distribution negotiation.
